From time to time we place some of Tim's sermons on this web site for you to read and reflect upon.

It is normally Tim's practice to write out the full script of his sermons for the 8 am and 9.30 am services, however he often preaches without the use of these sermon notes. So in some way it is a good chance to see what he was going to say before he "got going".

We will place a short outline of the sermon here, but if you wish to read the full script then please follow the link.

Our church council has decided to focus on "missions" during October/November - with several missionaries and mission groups supported by our church.

During August and September last year Tim was preaching a series based on a book called "Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations" written by Robert Schnase of the United Methodist Church in the USA. The book indicates that fruitful churches can be of any size, but all have common characteristics including a focus on hospitality, passionate worship, intentionally studying the Bible in small groups, risk taking in mission and service and a generous spirit.
